Sidekick legal
Effective July 24, 2026 · Sidekick is operated by BIZIBIZI INC. (ThreeDay Digital) · Questions? info@threedaydigital.com
- We collect only what Sidekick needs to work: your account details, the content you create, and voice audio when you use dictation or meeting features.
- AI features share only the content you submit, with named providers (Anthropic, ElevenLabs, Deepgram, Replicate), only after you’ve given permission inside the app — and never to train their models.
- We never sell your data, and we don’t show ads.
- You can delete your account — and everything in it — anytime, right inside the app (Settings → Delete account).
Sidekick is a notes, voice dictation, meetings and planning app operated by BIZIBIZI INC., the company behind ThreeDay Digital. If anything in this policy is unclear, email us at info@threedaydigital.com and a human will reply.
- Account information. Your email address and name (or phone number, if you sign up by phone), plus your sign-in method. If you log in with Google or Apple, we receive the basic profile they share. Collected directly from you when you create your account or sign in.
- Your content. The notes, boards, planner items, whiteboards, meeting transcripts, recordings and files you create or attach. Collected only when you create it, and stored securely in our database (hosted on Supabase) so it can sync across your devices.
- Voice audio. When you tap to dictate or record a meeting, the microphone captures audio — always started by you, never in the background — to produce your transcription and summaries. Audio is used to deliver those features, not to profile you.
- Photos you scan. If you use photo-to-text, the photo you pick is processed to extract its text into a note.
- Payment status. If you subscribe, we store your plan and renewal status. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe (web) or Apple (App Store) — we never see or store your card number.
- Basic usage data. Standard technical logs (like errors and request metadata), collected automatically, that help us keep Sidekick fast and reliable. We use no advertising trackers.
We use your information for one purpose: running Sidekick. That means signing you in, syncing your content, transcribing and summarizing what you asked us to, processing your subscription, and fixing things when they break. We do not sell your personal data, we don’t use your content for advertising, and we don’t use your content to train AI models.
Some Sidekick features are powered by third-party AI services. They only ever receive content you actively submit for a specific action, at the moment you invoke it — and the app asks for your permission in a clear consent screen before the first AI feature runs on your account. If you decline, that action is simply cancelled and the rest of Sidekick keeps working.
- Anthropic (Claude API) — receives the note text, question, or photo you submit when you use Polish/cleanup, “Turn this into…”, Ask your notes, the assistant chat, note-to-spreadsheet, meeting summaries, or photo-to-text. Purpose: generate the result you asked for.
- ElevenLabs — receives the audio you record when you use voice dictation or meeting transcription (automatic language detection), and the reply text when you ask Sidekick to read an answer aloud. Purpose: speech-to-text and text-to-speech.
- Deepgram — receives meeting audio only while you run the live-captions feature. Purpose: real-time streaming transcription.
- Replicate — receives the prompt you type if you use the optional image/video generation. Purpose: generating that media.
All of this flows through our own backend — no AI provider keys or direct connections live in the app. We do not send these providers your name, email address, contacts, location, or any device identifier. Under our agreements with them, your content is processed only to produce your result and is not used to train their models. The result comes back to you and is stored only in your own account.
Beyond the AI providers above, Sidekick runs on a small set of trusted infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf:
- Supabase — database, authentication and file storage (this is where your account and content live).
- Netlify — web hosting and the serverless functions that power the app.
- Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions started on our website. We never see or store your full card number.
- Apple — payment processing for subscriptions started inside the iOS app (In-App Purchase), managed through your Apple ID.
- Google — only if you sign in with Google or connect Google Drive to export notes into Docs/Sheets you asked for.
- Messaging delivery providers — only to deliver the SMS/email reminders and sends you explicitly set up.
Each provider receives only what it needs to do its job, and nothing is ever sold.
You’re in control. You can edit or delete individual notes anytime, and you can delete your entire account — including all notes, boards, transcripts and files — from inside the app: Settings → Delete account. Deletion removes your data from our active systems; residual copies in encrypted backups age out on a fixed schedule.
AI is opt-in: the app asks for your permission before the first AI feature runs, declining simply cancels that one action, and you can withdraw AI consent at any time by emailing us — we’ll reset it on your account and the app will ask again before any future AI use.
Your data is encrypted in transit, protected by row-level security in our database (your data is only readable by your account), and optional two-factor authentication is available on every account.
Sidekick isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we’ll remove it.
If we make meaningful changes, we’ll update the effective date above and let you know in the app. Continuing to use Sidekick after a change means you accept the updated policy.
